Grasstains transformed this Alameda Ridge property by harmonizing bold architectural elements with a soft, naturalistic landscape. The project focuses on creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow that celebrates the site's elevation and local character. By integrating structural precision with curated botanical layers, we created a functional masterpiece that provides beauty through every season.

The design features soft, meandering pathways crafted from crushed gravel and edged with steel, providing a gentle guided experience through the garden. Stone stepping stones are interspersed throughout, adding a rhythmic, organic feel to the journey. The highlight of the outdoor living area is an elevated patio, defined by a custom overhead arbor that provides architectural definition and a sense of enclosure while maintaining an airy, open connection to the surrounding vibrant plantings.
